Personal information we collect
When you ask for a quote or send a booking enquiry we collect the details you type: your name, phone number, email address, event date, guest count, venue, menu choices, delivery or collection choice, and any note you add. Booking records are kept so Decksters can confirm the function, prepare the invoice, and contact you about that booking.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer the enquiry, quote the function, take the booking, send the booking email, and, if you choose card payment, hand the payment amount and reference to PayFast or Yoco. We do not sell the list.
Cookies and analytics
The site stores one choice in your browser: whether you accepted or declined analytics. Google Analytics (measurement ID G-ZVMPT88C46) is requested only after you accept. Declining leaves analytics unloaded. The booking form may also use Cloudflare Turnstile to reject spam. Turnstile is loaded with the form, not by the analytics choice.
Sharing
Payment providers receive the amount and reference when you start a card payment. Email is sent through the mailbox configured on the server. We do not put card numbers on the Decksters server.
Your POPIA rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or object to processing that is not required to perform the booking. Contact the Information Officer at decksterscatering@mweb.co.za or +27 82 324 9486. If a field above still starts with TODO, that company detail has not been filled in yet.
